Hello all,

Been dreaming of an R2 build since high school but never had the funds to prioritize it so I just lurked the Astromech forums. During university I was in the process of printing a static Mk2 Baddeley/ thingiverse but life happens and I had to abandon the project. Doing some research I see Baddeley files are onto Mk4, but my 2010s makerbot doesn't seem up to the task. I'm hopeful I can get the scavenger aluminum frame completed to populate it to be animatronic. Currently looking at the Shadow RC system but haven't made any purchases in that regard yet.

Hi ! Where are you exactly in Canada ? There are a lot of builders around Montreal / Quebec / Ottawa / Toronto that can help you.
I'm near Montral, I'm currently building an R2 unit with a mix of scavenger parts, other files and also my own.
