When bending the side that extends further out on the top dome hinge mount you need to brace it so its supported and bends correctly. Then when placing the jig it centers up and just hooks the outsides of the dome then your mount should butt up to the jig. After you have your dome perfectly aligned up you make your 2 dots for drilling and bolting ect. Then your hinge itself gets placed. Then your pie goes outside align it the best you can tape it in place and use your adhesive of choice to attach the hinge to the pie. ive added some of phillip wises dome alignment keys on here. here are some pictures for refrence on using them.

Also you can use a vise to bend if you have one way easier.
