So i wanted to build my own cylinders so I measured my 3d printed ones they are basically 1 3/8ths inch and I found a supplier on Amazon 30" of it for 32$ 8$ delivery 40$ total. My next hurdle was the lines in the cylinders so I bought a pipe cutter 10$ tool on Amazon I just measured where the lines were and ran it around a few times it looks rough once you finish that part but i then put the tube on a threaded rod and used various grit sandpaper to get it smoothed out and finished with a scotch brite pad came out beautifully my next hurdle the back i 3d printed a jig to help align everything and chopped the backs off using a hacksaw next was mounting i printed a cylinder to go inside the aluminum tube to line up with the cylinder mount onbthe scavanger legs and put m4 heat set inserts in. Next was thevends I just had them water jet cut from send cut send 4 separate thickness of material probably could just do 3 thicknesses but I did 4. .315",.25",.125" .04". Polished them up and glued them up. Assembled everything glued the insert in the tube bolted it up let it cure i used e6000 then glued the ends on. Alot more work than I remember now that im typing this out but they're done.
